About me :)

Six months after my father passed away, I was diagnosed with a lifelong illness, and my life following became a process of hospital admissions and discharges. It was during my very first hospital stay that I fell in love with card making. An occupational therapist had convinced me to venture out to join her weekly card making and craft group and I, at first, hesitantly agreed.

However, it wasn't long before I became absolutely enthused with papercraft, despite being the only teenager in a group of mostly over 50's. Before I knew it, I had amassed a large collection of supplies and creations, and had expanded my crafty explorations into almost anything the internet had to offer! This curiosity has remained with me during all of my hospital admissions, as well as my home life.

I always smile when I pull a box of my creations out. The contents of the box are constantly changing, but the warm feeling of personal accomplishment and growth is always the same. It is this feeling which I long for, and which drives me to continue to create and explore, and foster my curiosity of life.

Everything I make is created by hand, individually and largely on a whim. I rarely follow other crafters' tutorials anymore, opting to carve out a pathway via my own tribulations. All of the materials are sourced by myself, and are the results of spending hours trawling through craft suppliers, op shops and even my own home! I feel that all of these factors are what make my creations truly unique.

I love to explore the world around me, and I always make sure I do so with an innate curiosity. This is what I find helps to make the world and my adventures throughout it an exciting place! I am constantly picking up new tips and tricks, insights and appreciations, and I shall endeavour to share them with you!

Please do not hesitate to contact me about anything at all, I would love to hear from you!
